Just had it done about a week ago an unevenness in certain areas ie not completely , dipping maybe a quarter - half an inch. Its noticeable as one runs ones fingers over it.
I also notice the colour of sand in pockets although it does seem quite hard.
As i am covering the whole are in laminate flooring plus having a kitchen installed, should I be concerned? thanks

You will need to fill in those dips to lay anything on it. Self-levelling compound would seem to be indicated in this case.

just noticed parts where its crumbling a bit as well. :x Presumbaly the self leveling compound will sort that out as well?

Depends where it's crumbling. Screed is not very strong so it would be normal for any unsupported edges to crumble under pressure and if you walk on it or sweep it, you can expect to lose some sand.

If you have holes appearing in the body. that's obviously a concern. The SLC woud take care of that in the immediate term but i don't know about longer.
