Asked a new neighbour about screeding our conservatory floor, as it's his job, and he recommended 25 mill as a minimum, haven't got into his head yet, but do people agree with that?, he hasn't seen the floor yet.
Unless this neighbour was talking about self levelling compound, in which case...........................he still doesn't know what he's talking about!
Seems a bit convenient that you need your floor screeding and your new neighbour just happens to know how to put down screed..............which he doesn't!

Bonded screed on concrete - approx 40mm minimum with sand / cement or down to 15mm with SBR added in various amounts - see SBR data sheet.
Unbonded screed (e.g. over DPM) min 50mm thickness.
Over insulation - min 60mm and probably with fibres added.
So he could do 25mm with SBR over concrete, but not without it.
