screen blocks

Hi,
I havesome moulds for making screen blocks and would like some advice on sand/cement mix.Does the moulds require tobe lubricated so finished blocks can be pushed out.

ordinary vegetable oil is a cheap release agent. Brush it on before filling with cement.
