Screwfix delivery

I am now on my third B&Q battery drill/driver, they keep breaking before the 2yr guarantee expires, the chuck on my present Mc Allister has siezed up, it has only three months before i would have lost my money.

So should i buy a Hitacchi or Makita costing up to £200 or buy another DIYer B&Q special and return it within 2yrs when it breaks down and get my money back??

Good question Pred...know another builder who's been getting stuff from Toolstation, their "value" brand of choice is Silverline, and he says if anything breaks down within warranty time he takes it back and they refund him fully, usually admitting their stuff is cr*p!

This saw may take a bit of checking and setting up prior to use, but I went through 4 handsaws putting down my laminate and one of these would have saved a whack of time.

I suppose for any pro you need something quality and reliable, but for occasional DIY projects a reasonable low cost brand is good enough. I was in B&Q on Saturday, they stock the Evolution stuff(not the one I wanted) and had a good look over it, seems well enough made. After that in Wickes their low cost own brand chop saw didn't look like it would last a few hours!

Wickes and B&Q are one and the same.

Screwfix and B and Q are both Kingfisher.

Screwfix doing Dewalt battery drills right now for half the price of the one you quoted. The drill will outlast the battery multiple times.
