Has anyone any information about screwpile foundations. I have a situation coming up soon when I will require to dig foundations 7ft deep to bridge over a pipe. I would be interested to know what sort of costs I may be looking at for 3 x 7ft deep screw piles and could these be installed by my builder. Any information would be appreciated.

You need specialist tools to do the drilling, whether your builder has the use of these or the knowledge to perform the job, who knows?
That's a question you best ask them.
But I would suggest you get quotes from about three companies to give you an idea of the prices charged in your area.
