I'm constructing a stud wall in my basement.

It has a concrete/screde floor with a visible blue plastic membrane at the edges (part of the jacketing).

If I drill into this floor will I breechthe membrane -

Should I not do this?

Or could I say use epoxy in the raw plug holes to keep them seeled?

comments gratefuly received!

I should think it would be fine mate. If you are really that concerned then yeah I suppse you could try sealing the hole somehow.

Gripfill the sole plate down and bang the uprights in and screw tight and you wont need to use screws on head or sole plate.

Thanks ...

Gripfil idea - a bit concerned it might move ..
gdayuk ... you mean in effect wedge the uprights tight in to keep the base secure?
