Seal on shower door falls down onto the tray

Hi. This is a pic of my Nabis shower door and what you can't see is my finger holding up the L-shaped rubber seal (A). Without the finger the seal falls below the metal runner (B) and sits on the shower tray. I take it the seal is not supposed to protrude down. Am I missing a part or is some other kind of sorcery involved?

You could try re attaching it with a water resistant sealant, it should last longer than sorcery but who knows.
