Have a problem where there is not hot water through the taps but the water tank is hot - happens occaisionally usually in the morning but rectifies itself later in the day, also there is a constant drip from the vent

Any ideas / solutions please

It is a sealed system providing heating & hot water, boiler is a large Worcester model, both boiler & system are about 7 years old

For the boiler, do you have -

1) a filling loop and pressure gauge?

or

2) a feed and expansion tank in the attic?

If it is the meagflo TRPV dripping, then you need to follow the instructions on the side of it and reform the air bubble.

By not getting any hot water, do you mean the cylinder is full of cold water, or the cylinder is piping hot but only cold out of the taps

the system has a loop & pressure guage and the tank is hot when the taps run cold

thanks
