Having laid a 6mm WBP ply subfloor in our bathroom ready for the new vinyl floor covering as the missus calls it, its Lino to me.....Is it a good idea to seal the ply, especially the joints/edges around the bath/toilet area with a diluted pva to, in theory give it extra protection from the water etc etc. If so what Dilution would you chaps recommend.

You would be better sealing it with waterproofing agent, once water hits the dry PVA, it will likely reactivate again.
