Securing a Christmas reindeer decoration

Basically I've bought one of these for the garden:

It's free standing and I'm a little concerned about it being both blown over by the wind or stolen ...

Can any of you think of a good way to faster it to the floor?

I've had a few ideas:

Tent pegs?
Long garden steaks into the floor?
Bike chain?
Possibly fasten it to something very heavy?

Put in back in the box and take it back to the shop to get your money back...I hat these stupid little things....so tacky looking
