I am looking to install a light sensor (photocell thingy i think) in my apartment abroad, ideally to switch on 3 lights indoor.

I want the lights to be switched on randomly between say 8pm and midnight everyday or have each light on for a certain period of time intermittently...my questions are:

1) is there a light sensor that allows that?
2) can i have a socket (indoors) connected to the outside light sensor, then fit an electronic timer to it, which will feed my indoor light..i.e: from dusk to dawn, my socket will be live, and i schedule my timer to be on random

thank you in advance for your input
