Seeking a pump for a fountain

I have a little fountain, pretty small, 38cm diameter, about 25cm deep and it's designed to have water in it which then gets routed through its hose into the back panel that has a spout. How do I begin to figure out what kind of pump I need to make this work and how to make it attach properly to the hose this thing has?

If I'm better off asking this elsewhere, please let me know.

Fountain pumps state max pump height etc , easy enough to choose one , many have adjustable flow rates so you can have anything from a fountain down to a little dribble.

You might want to consider something like this. My neighbour has one which seems to have worked well on a small water feature in his front garden over the last couple of summers.

I got a pump for mine, and it's far too big, so I never turn it on. But the solar versions are the reverse. Much depends on what you want, and also what rubbish is in the water.
