Self levelling sloping kitchen concrete floor

Hello,
My kitchen floor needs levelling, however it slopes from one end to the other, the difference is ~25mm.
Can I pour self levelling compound (suitable for that depth) or is it more of a serious issue?
Can I lay in stages to take up say 15mm of the difference then finish the rest of the floor?
