Went to a call yesterday where an attemp had been made to fault a system. Pump had been replaced which did not fix the fault. Pump iso valve were still closed. Then the thermocouple during which exercise the gas valve was damaged (so was leaking gas). In a panic the gas isolating valve was closed.
Had to replace the gas valve. So much for 'I am competent I can do my own gas work'.
