I put the washing machine on this morn. Could smell burning then i heard a bang and the machine stopped working. I changed the fuse as it had blown. The lights on the machine have come on but i am unable to get the machine to continue with the wash or spin. You are unable to reset it. The door is unlocked but i cant open it as its full of water. any ideas !!!!?

A bang accompanied by a burning smell does not sound hopeful. Servis went bust in 2009 & spares are pretty thin on the ground. Perform an emergency drain as outlined in your user manual to release the door & retrieve your washing. Then look around for a new machine....The bang & burning smell almost certainly mean the pcb has popped
