Here's a good video of some of the drive from Shanghai airport to Pudong, where all the biggest buildings are being built.
It's worth a look if you've never been there and you've got a few minutes to kill, I've never been, but everywhere looks clean and well kept and some of the buildings you can see in the second part are unbelievable.
Judging by the progress of the cladding on the Shanghai tower it was taken about a week ago.

It's a fantastic city and they have done a great job tidying it up.
The smog is the killer though. On overcast/damp days it tends to hover around the 20th storey. Thick yellow lung busting stuff.
