As the title indicates, I have a flat roof dormer which is shared with the neighbour, due to a recent leak in the heavy rain I have decided to get it re-felted, but neighbour is not interested in getting his done at the same time. So I've got to get someone in to do just our side only. Question is, whats best practice when it comes to this sort of thing? Is it simply the case of re-felting 50% of the roof area and thats it or should a dividing bar or some such thing be put in place first? Roof is not that big, ourside measures 2.5 X 2.5 metres.

I would consider getting it coated with one of Liquid Plastics products which won`t involve cutting the existing
