Shark Hoover Charging Problem.

Very strange problem with my other halfs Shark cordless hoover which is about two years old. The rechargeable battery shows all three LED's lit when in the stand alone charger indicating the battery is fully charged, but when inserted into the appliance only one LED is glowing and no power to the hoover. Any ideas or thoughts very welcome.

Does the same happen with a spare battery? Have you a meter and could check the actual battery voltage?

Sounds as though the battery is knackered.
