Didn't really know who else to turn to on this question...

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement charger for a panasonic beard trimmer
I've googled but the only one that comes up is 18 quid. Surely rheee are generic chargers you can use?

Model is ER-GB80.

Pics attached.

Many thanks

A pic of the charger details would be better.

Might be able to find one which would work but likely won't have the same plug.

Any battery charger has to have some method of ensuring battery is fully charged and also ensuring it is not over charged, there are many ways to do this and some times the control is inside the appliance and other times inside the charger.

It seems likely in this case the control gear is inside the trimmer not the power supply, however it does not actually state 1.5 ~ 2 volt it states 1.9 volt DC on charger and 1.2 volt on trimmer (likely voltage of battery rather than input voltage) so we can only guess which bit controls the charge rate, and guessing is just not good enough.

I have had the same problem many times, if the system is working you can measure and find out, but once failed it hard to work out what is required. It seems the original costs around £16 so why not get an original as a replacement?
