Hi,
I’ve stripped my window frames back to bare wood and patched around them with new plaster, leaving a small gap for movement. I’m going to fill the gap with Toupret Fill-Flex and then oil the wood with Rubio oil.
But what’s the right order for the oil?
Do I oil the wood first, then caulk? Or do I caulk onto the bare wood, let it dry, and oil at the end?
I’m worried the mastic won’t stick properly if I oil first.
N
Thanks a lot!
