Hi,
We've recently moved into a 1930's built flat.
The one bedroom had a problem with condensation and damp. I think to overcome this, the owners decided to to install an air brick or vent. But they didn't quite finish the job and so there is now a hole in the wall (to the outside air) 25cm x 18cm in size.
I'm wondering if an air brick is necessary - and if so, how does one go about installing one? I've only seen small little plastic air bricks on sale - would this be the best option? Plastic might look a bit cheap?
Advice/ suggestions much appreciated!
Thanks
