im thinking of taking my bath out and installing a shower cubicle in its place. i have a cold water tank in loft ie an indirect system. the head couldnt be any more than 1.5 metres tops if even that. would a thermostatic be the most suitable as i could tee in to existing hot and cold dist pipes. where do i tee in, underneath floorboards in 1st fix pipework, running pipes up chase in wall to shower head. if manual mixer i understand must pipe in2 cold tank below cold feed to hot cylinder. can connection be on same side directly below or does it matter.or is this all covered in water regs and i shouldnt be wasting your time, but rather i should just get stuck in to it.
