Whats the difference between a RCCB and RCD for supply to a shower? Is the RCCB covered as being suitable for earth leakage under the new regs, if not is it only RCD CU that should be used?

Is it RCD for all electricity in a bathroom now (lighting, shavers etc)?

RCD is just a generic term, what most people call an RCD is actually an RCCB. An RCCB does not provide overcurrent protection. An RCBO is an RCD combined with an MCB.
All circuits in a bathroom need to be 30mA RCD protected for the 17th edition, this includes lighting and shavers (tho as the shaver socket will contain an isolation transformer the RCD won't be much use for anything on the secondary!!).
