Morning all

Last week my mixer shower started to pack up. After a minute it got very hot and then became a trickle before stopping completely.

After a few minutes I tried again and the same thing happened. I can currently have a 30sec shower.

After doing a bit of reading about it, I concluded it had something to do with the shower valve. The manufacturer are sending a new one out.

However, a day or two later the "low pressure" light came on the boiler (potterton combi). I (proudly) repressurized it but a day later pressure had dropped again.

Amidst this there has always been water hammer since I moved in 6 months ago and had a new bathroom suite fitted. (a loud clang when I turn off a tap).

I just wondered if these things could be linked? Will the new shower valve sort it or does it sound more complex?

Thanks in advance...
