Shower Overheat - Heatstore Aqua-Plus 8,5

Hi,

Our shower is c.1998 and for the past week the overheat light has been lighting up when the button on the unit is switched off. This is followed by a fan sound.

If the unit is switched back on, the water is v.hot. I have been running it cold before getting out of the shower then switching off the power to the unit.



All comments/ suggestions welcome.

sounds like one of the relays is sticking and not cutting off.

this shower should run for an extra 5 secs after switching off to cool the elements in the shower.

Thanks for your reply. Sounds like it could be fixed then or is it time to replace the shower?
