Shower problem

Hello
I have a wickes shower pump that intermitently dumps out burst of to hot water.
it is attached to a thermo mixing valve also, not sure if i should just service the valve, replace the pump, or as i have been advised turn the temp down a bit on the hwc as some times pumps can become tempremental to the temp control.
All advice welcome.

Ok, im going with the cavitation, all points that way with pump also making more noise.
Think i will replace pump and have a little peek at the impeller.
