I have a Monsoon 3 bar twin pump, originally installed to serve one shower in 2004. About six months ago, we installed a new bathroom and it now feeds a second shower as well. Everything has worked well until the last couple of days when the pump started to switch itself off for the cold water supply only in the new bathroom. When you turn the tap on, it's fine but after a few seconds, the pump goes off and the water reduces to a trickle. If you turn off the tap for a few minutes, the same thing happens again. The pump is working fine for the hot water and for the original shower.
