Morning all

My electric shower, which has never been much good has now popped one of its elements so I can only get lukewarm water at very best if it`s turned right down to a dribble, so not ideal......

I now don`t know which road to go down, either like for like replacement, or one that runs from the mains hot water. My dad has one like that but he has a combi system with good hot water pressure, and it`s excellent. I have a traditional vented system with a cylinder. Can I have a similar system and is it much of a job?

Many thanks

If you're going to keep your cylinder go for a dual pump and a shower mixer valve have a look at Stuart Turner pumps - and threads on here ree: pumped showers.

Many thanks will do. I`ve no intention of getting rid of the cyclinder so will do some reading
