Can anyone help me? The wall at base of my shower screen frame has obviously been getting wet over time due to water getting behind.
I've raked out the old silicone around the area, but once l've repaired the area, should l re-silicone around the base just on the outside of the frame and the circular bit of the screen holder and not the inside? Should there even be silicone on the inside around the base and up the wall between the aluminium and the tile?
Thanks for any help.

Mine is siliconed between the wall and frame on the INSIDE of the shower, including the small, curved section at the bottom. This prevents any water getting behind the frame into the wall.
