Shower temperature

Hi

I have a shower powered by a combi boiler. The controls are provost triple control double outlet:

The temperature of the shower is warm even when the control is moved over to the coldest setting. Could it be that the control just needs to be removed and reseated on the spindle?

Does anyone have this control and know how to remove the control knob?

normally a grub screw under the handle , take handle off and turn the spindle inside and put handle back on loose until you have your desired temp . they have a temp limiter on them , while its new take the whole cartridge out and grease up the seals because they are a right nightmare at a later date to remove ( if possible even )for maintenance e.g cleaning filters or cartridge replacement , because believe me it will be needed

If it's just since the warm weather I'd leave it as the cold water feed may be warm and not a lot you can do about it.. Try the cold water feed on a tap feed see if it's the same temp on you arm and compare ..Before blaming the shower unit.
