My floor is 27mm thick the shower tray 10mm, before I start cutting big holes in the floor, is there a bigger/longer trap I can use, the one I was supplied with is not long enough, Thanks

The main trap / waste seal is on the bottom of the trap / waste, so you need to fit it only to the tray, not the floor as well. You mightg get a leak / damp wood otherwise. Cut a big hole in the floor to accomodate the bulk of the waste / trap.
