Shower waste fall ??

Nice and easy one. What is the min fall on a shower tray waste outlet ?

For 40mm pipe from a shower, it is 18mm per metre minimum.

Silly question maybe, but why are you trying to find the minimum?

Because I have a limited height, I can raise the tray !!!

But, not a silly question !!

You could possibly also look into a shallower trap. They tend to have the outlet (after the trap) higher, so allow a steeper fall...

Remember that you need to subtract at least 50 mm from your measured height when you run a waste pipe in a void.
