i changed my shower tray from plastic to stone cast. The new tray takes a 90mm shower waste which I intended to connect to the existing 40mm waste. I purchased this http://www.diy.com/departments/wirquin-white-abs-compression-shower-waste/136764_BQ.prd
I now have the problem of the water pooling in my new tray as the new waste does not seem adequate to drain quick enough. The waste itself seem so narrow considerably inside the body. Do I need a new waste or have I got a blockage somewhere? Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks

Have a read of the reviews - your issue is already mentioned in one of them.

That assumes that you waste pipework is falling correctly and doesn't have multipe bends restricting the flow

Thanks for replies. I have just read the reviews you refer to and I'm surprised that a product like this would not have been tested for flow rate?

Also my pipe work has two 90degree bends in it which are not ideal but never had a problem with this when it was used with old shower trap

Quite normal to have to remove the chrome cap to keep up with modern showers.
