hello i hope you can help me, i took out my bath and fitted a shower, i used the existing hot (cylinder fed)and cold (mains fed) to a mixer shower,
and as the cold tank is not very high the out put is poor, So i'm going to fit a pump, the pump has 4 pipes, hot and cold inputs, can i tee both input together and feed the hot with them,? the cols pressure is ok and don't need boosting,
most gratefull for any replies,
thanks,

you'll be better off doing it properly is your going to do anything.

pumped showers work better off their own supply from the cylinder
ie surrey, essex flanges etc.

cold should also be tank fed and pumped to give equal pressures
the shower hot/cold with perform better.

example of a surrey flange set up.

yes thank you serco, i am aware of the proper way, but the easy way is to join both inputs and out put just to feed the hot and i was wandering would it work, i can't see why it should't, and hoping someone else on here has done it, and what the result was,
but thanks again for your comment.
