I have a thermostatic shower in a downstairs wetroom.
The hot is fed from the hot tank via 15mm...and the cold is fed from the mains supply via a pressure reducing valve. also 15mm.

The hot tank is upstairs in the airing cupboard.

Flow at the shower head is good, but i would like better.

I have purchased a small capacity salamander pump and would like to boost this shower.

Can i tee into the present hot and cold supplies and fit the pump..?

Will the pump work satisfactirily with the present hot and cold supplies..?

thank you for your advice.

No you can't pump mains water.
You will need to take your cold water from the storage tank in the loft.

The pump should have instructions on recommended installations. Failure to follow these may damage the pump and void the warranty.
