Hi all,
painted over a dated marble fireplace surround (owatrol esp primer then 2 coats water based dulux trade diamond eggshell)

When I took the masking tape off its left a bit of a messy edge where the fireplace meets the surround.

I think only silicone can sort this and tidy it up.

What sort should I be using? Should it be fire rated, something like this from screwfix?

Should I be concerned about it 'transforming into foam' as it says in the description?

Or should I just use normal frame sealent or flexible silicone?
