SIME combi boiler problem - no hot water unless heating on

For some time now our SIME combi boiler will not give hot water to the taps unless the central heating is switched on. Funny how you get used to working around things, but now we have child number 2, i want this fixed. Any suggestions? Model is Super 102 De Lux. When heating is on, taps do get pretty hot water, but not if they're turned on more than a trickle. Heating functionality is absolutely fine, just the water thing is the issue.

Any ideas?
