Sime Friendly ! Is this price a joke?

I have just been to a Friendly Format 80E.

The fan has failed and the list price of the fan including VAT is £254.

Thats a rather over the top price isn't it when the whole boiler was probably only about £300 when it was new 10 years ago.

Most single speed boiler fans are about £100-£130

This fan caused me lots of problems. All i kept getting was a Halstead Finest fan for £159 inc VAT. It has 2 venturi holes pre-drilled on the elbow and the Sime has none.

Never completed job and a new boiler was fitted anyway.

Maybe you have ordered the wrong one?

Retail price at Parts Center is £221 + VAT. Their no 468778.
