Have just come round to looking at the boiler over the summer , No hot water at tap / unless CH was switch on . Diaphram damaged and was replaced fixed problem but still a little hit and miss at times. May have at look at flow switches.
However when DHW is working the temp is way too high and does not seem to be controled by Variable temp control on front of boiler.
CH working
Resistor itself (control ) is working .
NTC temp temperature sensor (NTC) working.
Can the problems be linked ?
PCB problem ?
