Sorry, electrics novice (don't worry, I won't be doing the work myself!)

We have several single sockets in our house and want to convert them to doubles (2 or 3 in each room) - is this ok to do with the existing wiring, or does it need anything else doing? Thanks!
 
if the wireing is in good condition, none of your old rubber stuff it will be fine
