Sink waste pipe

I live in a terraced house and have dismantelled my downstairs toilet and sink the waste pipe for the sink has fallen into the foundations and cannot be found will this cause a problem

Breezer---- My point was that you say the missing 's' was first noticed on the 17th August but I mentioned it on the 4th July and only recently has it been altered.
