Hi there.
I wondered if you could help out with a potential problem?
I am wanting to move my washing machine, into a utility room, which is next to a downstairs toilet. There is no plumbing there for a washing machine, but the intention is to tee off the existing pipes which serve the sink in the toilet.
The problem is, that the sink quickly fills up with water if the tap is run any longer than a minute. The sink waste goes to a pipe underground.
I've got a feeling in my bones, that if i tee the washing machine waste to the sink waste, the whole thing will bloop back.
Any suggestions? would it be wise to plumb the washing machine, round the walls of the toilet to tee into the downstairs loo?
Your help would be appreciated.
many thanks
meddy.
