Is the hole that's required for sink and bath taps a common size?

If so, what size would it be?

I'm sure you will.

Whilst you're waiting for that to happen I wonder if anybody else could offer any input as many sinks and baths come with pre-drilled holes ready for tap fitment but the bath I have hasn't.
The taps I've ordered have yet to arrive so I'm not sure what size hole they require but considering so many items have pre-drilled holes then I expect the size to be common.

Try looking on your order for sizes on the taps.

If you dont have sizes you best wait for them to arrive, then go out and get a speedbit or hole cutter to suit.

Or leave it to the plumber to cut hole.

Thanks, I'll await their arrival then and obtain the correct hole saw.

I'm the plumber on this occasion :(
