Sizing plaster walls

Hi could anyone advise as to the best sizing material for use on plaster walls some of which is old plaster and some of it is new plaster.

Personally I prefer to paint them in matt vinyl paint. If it looks good you may leave it at that. If it looks bad then you can paste straight on to that with your lining paper.

Hi...what i do is paste the wall with a roller first. This will be almost dry before you then paste each paper as you go...
