Skylight in bathroom

I am planning on getting a single story extension and considering having a VELUX skylight in bathroom ceiling instead of a window in the wall. Can anyone see any practical issues with this?
The reason for wanting the window in the roof is that I am also planning on having a conservatory in the future and don’t think a bathroom window opening in the conservatory will be very appealing.
 
If its going to be out of reach get one that you can open electrically. I know someone who has one in bathroom and it stinks as he has a manual opening one and cannot reach it.
