Hi
I am about to lay underfloor heating (single cable) in a shower room and am not sure which of the Self Levelling Compounds is best to use ( Latex or Water based)
The cable will be laid on marmox boards that will be laid on screed using flexible adhesive.
Any pointers / Advice would be greatly appreciated.

whats the subfloor?

...anyway.. imo a fibre or latex based one..

F Ball/mapei/bal..etc

not a great lover off the waterbased ones myself.

dont forget when laying this over elect ufh...use a plastic trowel so as you dont damage the cable.

Hi
Point noted about plastic trowel.
It is an old suspended floor that I am taking out and replacing as follows.

Blinding with sand
DPM
concrete slab
50mm insulation
60mm screed
10mm marmox on flexible adhesive
UFH encased in SLC
porcelain tiles on flexible adhesive

Thanks
