Sliding Patio Doors - Movement/Tolerance

I've had some sliding aluminium patio doors fitted (four panels, outer 2 are static, central 2 are sliding), but have a question about movement when they are locked. At present, when the central doors are locked, there is over 10mm movement side to side - ie. I can hold the handles and move the doors sideways. I had expected them to be rigid, but the fitter says this is acceptable 'tolerance' - my question is whether this is acceptable and does this affect the airtight seal?

Many thanks in advance.
