I've just fitted a new bathroom sink with an integral pop-up waste. The sink drains very slowly and stops draining altogether after a certain amount of water has drained. If I then wiggle the plug some air is released from somewhere, the sink then continues to drain.

Any ideas anyone?

I have now rebuilt the system three times with little improvement.

It is a trap style ubend with a small valve on it, could this be the problem?

Thanks all

That's be an anti syphon trap. Not the reason for your problem.

Adjust the hight of the pop up waste, take it out undo the locking nut turn the screw anticlockwise, tighten lock nut.
