Slug problem

I sometimes go out at night when it's damp with a torch and a bucket of salt water and drop the little blighters into it. I also take my bucket for a walk in the daytime and look under boards or what ever and pick up a few more and also the clusters of eggs too.
Others I know use the nematode method which is said to be pretty good, less work, less messy although a bit more expensive.

I've used the traps that take larger, they seem to like that. Otherwise, go out at night and kill the blighters. I never found the copper strips to work, nor slug pellets. We sometimes use a liquid you add to water and then spread using a watering can which seems effective too.
