smeg fridge freezer

i have a smeg fridge freezer combined model cr330se/1 it has just stopped working all the lights are on including the red one .last night we defrosted it and it started working again, the thermo setting was on 4 all night .when i checked it in the morning it was still working so i turned it down to 3 the recomended setting and it stopped working and it hasnt worked since , even when turning back upto 4 can anyone advise

Not sure about that model, but it sounds like the easiest way might be to turn it off again & then leave it on 4 if it works when you switch it back on. As I say I am not familiar with that model but it may just need a new thermostat ( not usually a particularly difficult or expensive job)
